Q&A

Q: Who/What has been your best teacher in business?

A: Failure and rejection, both to be a better photographer and a better business person, and to get used to it, because there's no avoiding it completely - only learning how to be that much better the next time around. I think that's how we all grow. Q: What's the last song you listened to?

A: Antonio Williams & Kerry McCoy, "Changes"

Q: What's the first thing you notice about people?

A: I was a sushi chef for years and that involved reading a lot of body language in both patrons and colleagues, and it's a skill I find I can't turn off. I'm often in a state of scanning for "vibe".

Q: What is the one photograph you've taken that you want to be remembered by?

A: I think this one might be something I haven't taken yet, still striving over here for the one...

Q: What's your super secret power?

A: I was a professional chef for years, and always loved cooking at home anyway, so my food knowledge and interest goes far beyond wrangling it into the camera. Hopefully I can bring that passion to on set collaborations with stylists, creatives and clients.

Q: In-N-Out or Shake Shack?

A: In-N-Out
