A: Heirloom tomato varieties.

A: The Gourmet Cookbook by Ruth Reichl.

A: Planting a garden from seed. Self employment. Publishing new work.

A: How to purchase a house in SoCal.
Q: Best and worst advice you've ever received.
A: Best: "Join ASMP and be active locally." This provided my introduction to commercial photography through all of the friends I made and the assisting gigs that started flowing in. 2nd Best: "When in doubt, throw it out. Worst: "If you see someone crying, ask if it because of their haircut."
Q: How has your work evolved over the past few years? A: I feel that I've gained the versatility to shoot what is needed by the client or project while maintaining a style consistent with my personal work.
Q: One thing you can't show up to a shoot without - Besides a camera ;)
A: My photo assistant.
