Q&A
Q: Who/What has been your best teacher in business? A: I have had some great mentors but I think the best teacher is doing the work. You just have to do the work and you will learn!
Q: What is the one photograph you've taken that you want to be remembered by?
A: Hopefully more than one! The one series that I keep coming back to of my own is the aerial work from Owen's Lake. I can live with that work. If you can live with a work, whether it is your own or someone else's I think that is a good measure!
Q: What's the last song you listened to?
A: Ronnie Wood, "Mystifies Me"
Q: What's the first thing you notice about people?
A: I think the eyes. They are so telling.
Q: Who's the last person you talked to on the phone?
A: My mom!
Q: What are words you live by?
A: Them's the breaks.
Q: What's your super secret power?
A: Being a pilot?
Q: One thing you can't show up to a shoot without, besides a camera :)
A: My pocket knife!
Q: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
A: Back-country skiing, flying, playing tennis, fly fishing, riding motorcycles.
Q: What inspires you?
A: Fellow artists.
Q: Describe the color yellow to somebody who is blind.
A: That's a tough one. If you put your face to the sun and then turn it away it is in that moment that you "see" yellow.
Q: In-N-Out or Shake Shack?
A: In-N-Out
