Q&A
Q: What song do you play on repeat?
A: Gearing up for my trip to France I've been obsessed with Laisse Tomber Les Filles. Specifically the
Fabienne Delsol version.
Q: What's the best way to start the day?
A: Coffeeeeeeee.
Q: What are some things you had to unlearn?
A: Not to question authority (Did I mention I went to Catholic School?) And that doing your best means
achieving perfection. They're not the same thing but that took me a minute.
Q: What fictional place would you most like to go?
A: Oz.
Q: What book impacted you the most?
A: To Kill a Mockingbird. Social injustice gnaws at me.
Q: What risks are worth taking?
A: I will stick my neck out for love without thinking twice and think everybody should.
Q: What do you spend the most time thinking about?
A: My kids. Followed closely by how to better serve my clients.
Q: How has your work evolved over the past few years?
A: My work is gradually becoming more conceptual and less literal. More and more I'm allowing my experience in theatre to inform my photography. Also as I learn more and experiment more with lighting I'm better able to know what I want to achieve before I shoot. My results are less like happy accidents (although I always make room for those, too.)
Q: One thing you can't show up to a shoot without - Besides a camera ;)
A: A Can-Do Attitude.
